Day 1.
Arrival at Kraków Airport in Balice. Transfer from the airport and checking-in at a hotel. Sightseeing in Kazimierz, the Jewish district of Kraków. Going to the old Synagogue, the present branch of the Historic City of Kraków Museum, and taking part in one of the educational lectures there. Visiting several other synagogues: the Remuh Synagogue along with the tomb of the Moses Isserles, commonly known as the Rema, the Isaak Synagogue and the Tempel Synagogue. Going to the Jewish Cemetery. A welcome dinner. Free time. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.
Day 2.
Breakfast, departure to Oświęcim. Sightseeing of the former Nazi concentration and extermination camp, Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II-Birkenau – the authentic preserved memorial of Holocaust. Visiting the Jewish Museum and Synagogue in Oświęcim. Free time. Return to Kraków. Dinner. For those who are interested - sightseeing of the medieval cellars beneath the Market Square of Kraków* Return to the hotel for the night.
*MEDIEVAL CELLARS BENEATH THE MARKET SQUARE OF KRAKÓW – visitors are walking underground of the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice), on the glass ramps and passages, hanged over the medieval tracts, the oldest of which date back to the 11th century.
Day 3.
Breakfast. Departure to Lublin. Exploring the city of Lublin with a tour guide. Learning about the Jewish history. A stroll from Kraków Gate – The Lublin History Museum, through the Old Theatre - the former Jewish orphanage and home for the aged and disabled, called ‘The Shelter’, Grodzka Gate, Lublin Castle, the Old Jewish Cemetery (from old German: Kirkut ), the New Jewish Cemetery, the former Academy of Sages of Lublin – learning about the history of Yeshivat Hachmei, Meir Shapiro’s tomb, the former Jewish Hospital up to the Jewish House of Prayer. Dinner. Free time. Departure to Warszawa (Warsaw) and overnight stay in a hotel.
Day 4.
Breakfast. Visiting the Museum of the History of Polish Jews in Warsaw and the Memorial Monument to the Ghetto Heroes. Entering the Jewish Historical Institute named after Emanuel Ringelblum. Visiting Palace of Culture and Science and The Royal Castle in Warsaw. A walk to the Warsaw’s Old City Market Square, free time. Dinner and overnight stay in Warsaw.
Day 5.
Breakfast. Checking-out of the hotel. Transfer to the airport. Check-in for the flight. Departure from Warsaw.
