After World War II, estimated that the capital was ruined in almost 85%, very few people believed in returning city to the former glory. On the ruins of pre-war Warsaw was rebuild historic buildings of Old and New Town and the monuments along the Royal Route rebuild almost completely.

Currently in Warsaw is almost 1500 registered historical sites, hundreds of memorial places, dozens of museums, including the world`s first Museum of Poster, interactive Warsaw Rising Museum and Copernicus Science Centre or Europe`s only Museum of Hunting and Horsemanship.
